Ministry of Finance Ordinance No. 409/2018 was published on September 21, 2018, setting out the Accident Prevention Factor (FAP) calculated in 2018 and applicable for 2019, and establishing frequency, severity and cost rankings.
The FAP can be checked on the following websites: http://www.previdencia.gov.br/ and/or http://www.receita.fazenda.gov.br/.
Employers who disagree with the FAP applicable in 2019 may therefore challenge it administratively during the month of November 2018.
