THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the exercise of the powers conferred by art. 84, head, item IV, of the Constitution, and in view of the provisions of art. 20 of Law No. 9,637, of May 15, 1998,
DECREES:
Art. 1 Decree No. 9,190, of November 1, 2017, is amended as follows:

- § 1 The private entity may provisionally submit, upon registration, a statement containing the commitment to submit the documents required for qualification as a social organization, accompanied by the Minutes of the Meeting that approved the issuance of the statement, under the terms established in art. 2, art. 3 and art. 4 of Law No. 9,637, of 1998, without prejudice to the sanctions provided for by law.
- § 2 The private entity that opts for the procedure provided for in § 1 shall submit the supporting documents within forty-five days of the publication of the final selection decision.
- § 3 The private entity may only be qualified as a social organization after submitting the appropriate supporting documentation, in accordance with art. 2, art. 3 and art. 4 of Law No. 9,637, of 1998.
- § 4 The private entity shall be disqualified if it fails to meet the deadline referred to in § 2.” (NR)
Art. 2 This Decree enters into force on the date of its publication.
